Mark Herring Lighting (MHL) understands you value privacy, and we want to make your online experience satisfying and safe. Our privacy policy describes our obligations to you. Use of this site is subject to this policy.

We collect only personally identifiable information which visitors to this website specifically and voluntarily provide. MHL receives identifiable information, such as:

Third-party links in website
Several places throughout the website it may link to other websites that do not operate under MHL privacy practices. When you follow links to other websites, MHL privacy practices no longer apply. We encourage visitors to review each site's privacy policy before disclosing any personally identifiable information.
Data retention
Some of the information we receive is not retained. Contact information about visitors (such as information generated through registration for access to areas on the site) will be kept as long as the information is required to service the contact request completely, or until a user request that we delete that information. Mailing list information, discussion posts and email are kept for only the period considered reasonable to facilitate the visitor's requests.

Personally identifiable information provided to MHL through this website is provided voluntarily by visitors. Should visitors subsequently choose to unsubscribe from mailing lists or any registrations, we will provide the necessary instructions.

As MHL is based in New Zealand where relevant we will comply with the "Privacy Act 2020" and for unsolicited electronic communications "The Unsolicited Electronic Message Act 2007."

Enquiries about the accuracy of identifying information previously submitted to MHL through this website or requests to have outdated information removed should be directed to info@lights.co.nz. MHL is committed to providing reasonable and practical access to visitors to allow them the opportunity to identify and correct any inaccuracies. When requested and practical, MHL will delete identifying information from current operational systems.
When MHL retains personally identifiable information, MHL assumes responsibility for keeping an accurate record of the information once a visitor has submitted and verified the data.
